Across August and September of 2024, 360 Traffic Surveys undertook a comprehensive assessment of traffic volumes in the vicinity of the WestConnex Interchange in Rozelle, NSW. This required the installation of numerous automatic tube counters to cover 60 lanes of traffic. Additionally, the survey required the capture of vehicle volumes travelling in the same direction in adjacent lanes (an issue which requires the precise installation of special counters to overcome the issue).
The survey helped identify the traffic volume trends across a typical week, specifically with the completion of the WestConnex interchange.
